Life Cycle Events

I want to be a part of a synagogue because I want to be a part of the Jewish people, and there is no other institution that unites the Jews as well, across the centuries and across the borders.

Owing to its beautiful building and excellent clergy, Bolton Street Synagogue is a popular choice for celebrating life cycle events. We regularly celebrate baby namings and the covenant of circumcision (brit milah); bar and bat mitzvah; welcoming new converts into the Jewish people, weddings; and more. We also take seriously the sacred obligation (mitzvah) of caring for one another in times of sadness, crisis, illness and loss, of of honoring remembering our loved ones in a way that is respectful and dignified.
